For the first time, mischievous marbles joyfully wreak havoc by weaving their way between neatly ordered rings.
They remind us of the simple joy of play, that interlude where everything seems possible, without judgment. A gentle feeling of freedom, which reassures and restores confidence.
What would I like people to feel when wearing YŪGI? Comfort, joy, and pride all at once!
The inspiration came from a visual shock: a work by the Brazilian artist Tulio Pinto, encountered at FIAC in 2019, where immense glass bubbles seemed about to burst, crushed under the metal.
This tension between power and fragility, resistance and lightness, led me to imagine a new edition where strength is hidden in roundness.
From this came these marbles — metaphors for a return to childhood, for letting go, for self-compassion.
