TOKYO, 2018
ŌKAN STUDIO was born following a long personal journey. For a long time, I buried within myself the desire to launch my brand, to design with my own hands. I didn't feel capable of it. Until the turning point, that moment when my creativity was unlocked during an initiatory trip to Japan in March 2018. All it took was an encounter with an extraordinary piece of jewelry, which crossed all my fingers with force and lightness, to inspire me to let my creativity speak.
CONFIDENCE TO WEAR
Back in Paris, the memory of this jewel never left me. I began to draw, possessed by this new spark. I learned 3D design thanks to YouTube tutorials and invested in a printer to bring my first resin models to life. Little by little, ŌKAN took shape. Prototype after prototype, my ideas became wearable sculptures, with a bold and unique design. Jewelry like allies, capable of transmitting inner strength.
Why ŌKAN?
Behind this sonorous and smacking name, I chose to hide a symbol, that of power - of course.
ŌKAN is the transcription of the kanji 王冠 which mean “crown”. So that you always have your head held high by wearing one of our signature jewelry.
